This page sets out the limits of what AnagramSolverFree.com is and what our results mean. The trademark section near the end is the one most visitors are looking for.
AnagramSolverFree.com provides word-finding tools for education, practice, and entertainment. Our solvers help you learn words, build vocabulary, break a mental block, and settle arguments. They are not professional linguistic advice, and they are not an official ruling on anything.
We build our results from tournament-standard word lists, and we work hard to keep them correct. We cannot promise they are perfect, for a reason that is structural rather than careless: dictionaries change.
Words are added, removed, and reclassified by the bodies that maintain each list. Publishers issue new editions on their own schedules. Different editions of the same game may accept different words. At any moment there may be a gap between our data and the most current official list.
WE DO NOT GUARANTEE THAT EVERY WORD RETURNED BY OUR TOOLS IS VALID IN EVERY EDITION OF EVERY GAME. IF YOU ARE PLAYING IN A SANCTIONED TOURNAMENT OR ANY SETTING WHERE WORD VALIDITY IS DISPUTED, THE OFFICIAL WORD LIST FOR THAT EVENT GOVERNS — NOT OUR RESULTS. VERIFYING A WORD AGAINST THAT LIST IS YOUR RESPONSIBILITY.

Whether using a solver is acceptable in your game is a question for you and the people you are playing with, and we take no position on it. Many players use tools like this to study after a game rather than during one. Many casual groups allow them. Most organised tournaments do not.
We provide the tool. How you use it is your decision and your responsibility.
